whats the highest stall i can fit on a 2002 ls1 273 gears out in the back

Would like more info, Like are you talking here a stock motor set up, And what are you going to be doing with the car.. If 100% stock and going to keep it there maybe other than headers and air intake 2400 stall... Give RPM a call and ask them what is best with what you plan on doing with the car... Robert

Just about any size stall will work with 2.73 gears. BUT a decent sized converter 2800-3000 and bigger will feel loose with 2.73 gears. The bigger the gears the more like stock a high stall converter will feel while you are driviing normally. Check the C5 parts for sale forum you can sometimes find a 3.42 pumpkin for sale. Save money while your car is apart swap converter & gears at the same time.
