Halltech Honeycomb Disintegrated??
I installed their intake honeycomb 3 years ago to resolve the lean codes associated with my Vararam.
Fast forward to yesterday, during a dyno tune: The tuner suggested we remove it and see if he could rebalance the A/F ratios.
IT IS GONE!
I'm guessing it deformed and got sucked into the intake manifold, where it is stuck, or has been swallowed and destroyed. The tuner didn't find any differences between left and right banks, so is it possible it disintegrated and no longer exists, except for aluminum molecules in the atmosphere? Should I pull the manifold and look for it?
