Cowl vent covers
Would taking the inside covers off at the cowl vents help get rid of the engine compartment heat generated from long tube headers? I installed long tube headers and the engine compartment is extremely hot. I am afraid the heat will ruin the coils.

If the heat were that great, you would experience a host of othe failures....before the coils would fail. You're fine.
