Default Power Window Failure

My right-side window is inoperative. When the switch is depressed, I hear a soft click but no motion of the window. Any thoughts as to the cause?

I had something like that happen years ago... only the entire dash board went haywire with it... all the gauges read 0... even though the car was running... :(

Hi there,
You have a few possibilities, your door control module is not switching the power correctly, or your window motor is not responding.
Either way, the module is about 220, and the regulator is about 260.
I encourage you to have this one professionally diagnosed.

My right window went out 5 months ago and I also had the clicking noise. Problem was the window regulator.

Yep, definitely does sound like the regulator and this tends to be more common on the passenger side. Peace. T-Bone.

Passenger side regulator going out is very common. I had mine replaced about 2-3 weeks ago. You know its common when a dealer that maybe selles 3-4 vettes per year stocks the part, as mine did.

My passanger window will roll down about 3 inchs then it stops. But when it is rolling down, it makes almost a grinding noise then when I roll it up there is no noise. When I took it apart it looks like the cable is fraid. :mad Has this happened to anyone??
