C5 Z06 Front End Vibration Problem
I've got a problem and I need some help. I have a vibration issue in the right front end and I need to figure out what it is.
My problem starts when I go to make a left hand turn. I start getting a rattling and vibration sound that seems to be coming from the right front, but I can hear it all along the side if I'm sitting in the passenger seat and put my ear next to the passenger side window. Once the rattling and vibration starts I can stop the car and the vibration continues while I'm sitting there at idle.
Motor mount? Steering rack? Loose header? Subframe connectors? I need to get the car up on a rack and check it out, but I want to have some idea of what I should look for. I thought that it might be a front wheel bearing, but that wouldn't vibrate the front end at a stop, would it?
Any ideas what I should be looking at?
