Paging c4c5specialist: need answer fast.. only YOU would know!

Just had my shop, (pretty competant one) add a line lock control, so I can do burn outs at my limited drag racing.
After hitting the A/H button for a sec (turning off TC & AH), I press the brake pedal, then hold the installed button & release my foot off the brake. This keeps pressure in the line for the front brakes...
However, as soon as I lift my foot off the brake pedal, I get the "service active handling/ABS" error message.
My tech said thats its due to my foot not being on the brake pedal, and the computer sensing the brakes being applied..
My question is, WILL my car run as normal, with full power & torque with this message, or do I need to turn off the car, remove the key & restart it to clear the error meaasge prior to making my run?
Not sure if the error message makes the computer run in some lower power mode, or if its just an error message on the dic with no affect on motor performance.
Thanks,
Ellis

I watched this happen last time I dyno'ed.
No problemo
Poboy is definately right here, as if you are burning out, this will set your front wheel speed sensors codes.
However, you are not noting doing the burnout, only when you remove your foot from the brake pedal.
Now, if the first is the case, there is your answer. If it is before doing the burnout, then you are most likely setting a c1245, which is a "Brake pressure switch always high"
This will have no effect on your power, or your shifting. IT WILL, however, shut down the ABS/AH/TCS. Because the computer will NOT see a correct brake pressure reading, it will default and shut down.
I would ask that you retreive the codes, and post them, however, my theory on this is that your technician is right on his game.

That performance is the same, although the AH/ABS are in error.
Thanks
