Well, cleaned my grounds today all of them..Not too much corrosion at all, but very dirty! Good thing is after a good while of driving I have yet to see those codes come back.
However I am still having my key fob not working right. IF i hold the two buttons forever she will eventually beep twice, lock twice and trunk pop twice. Meaning I hit the button once, she does it twice. If i leave the fob alone for even five minutes or less she will not work again. Period until i hold the buttons forever again. Like at least 30 seconds or more.. Really a pain in the butt! The only code I am getting at all concerns the left door control module or something like that. I have looked in the door harness thing and it seems someone has wrapped the wires in orage high voltage electrical tape! Seems they had this issue before!!!Any ideas if that driver's side control module controls or has any effect on the key fob not working?
I have a 2000 coupe with 85k and have dealt with some of your issues.
1-Check your air intake for vacuum leaks this will cause a mis while idling.
2- Fill her up with the highest octane available in your area.
3-Put a new battery in your fob then hold down lock and unlock till horn blows.
4-Mine only has a little tic when I use a lower ocatane rated fuel.
Fob has a new battery, car has a new battery, have cleaned all the grounds now, and have still got to hold down the two buttons forever just to here it beep and it work. But like I said before the darn thing will only work for like 5 seconds before she goes off again. I will make SURE to get the code in the morning, Thanks!
THANK YOU forum brother's!!! I have fixed my key fob!! And the code's I have, well after tons of reading I am under the impression that it's a live with, or die tryin to figure out situation! So..gonna forget about them and move on! Anyway after reading that thread and doing the repair my key fob now works great! Hopefully no more loosing sync..but well see. Anyway thank you all who helped me and hopefully anyone reading this in the future will see what went on and be helped themselves.
