My 99 frc is in the shop to have the kit to upgrade the key fobs and tpms installed. The shop just called me and said that after installing the
kit the car wil not start or do anything. My guess is the car security
program is preventing the car from doing anything. The shop seems to
be at a loss, any info would be appreciated.

I beleive the RFA function is for the TMPS and Key fob function. But for sure the car would start without the RFA.

Did these rocket scientists try unplugging the reciever, to see if the car would start?
IF, they changed the connector and cut the old one off cutting through several wire at one time they could have blown a fuse, or possibly shorted the serial commnuication wire.
Hope they didn't cause any permanent damage in the BCM.
Anyway, have the codes checked, or do it yourself and report back. These guys will figure it out.
The shop called me at 7:30 yesterday evening to let me know the car was ready. The problem was a blown fuse. On the drive home everything seemed to working fine. Thanks for the replies.
