Default Ride height unusually low?

Ok this sounds wierd and I'm not really complaining but my 99 coupe seems to naturally sit lower than any other vette in the area. I bought her used but the previous owner was a woman and I'm pretty sure she didn't have it lowered. At a recent car show I measured the distance from the front air dam to the ground and I was at least 1/2 inch lower than anyother C5 there. I have put chrome Z06 wheels and 275/40zr17 front and 295/35zr18 rear Michelin Pilot Sports on, but even with the stock wheels and EMT's it seemed to sit unusually low. Forget about getting it on most lifts. Even the tech's at the dealership I go to have commented on how much lower it seems to sit. Tire pressures are actually 2 pounds high at 32 psi. It only has 36XXX miles on it so I wouldn't think sagging springs would be much of a factor. Any ideas?

The ride-height is adjustable from the factory. Someone obviously adjusted the front and rear springs. :yesnod:

The lower profile tires may account for the 1/2 inch but it sounds like it
was lowered previously.

A quick way to check is to slide under the back of your car and see how many threads are exposed at the top end of the rear adjusting bolts. If there's no threads showing, it probably has been lowered (....... or at least 'adjusted')!

Mine seems to sit unusually low too! :D

Me and 2 of my best friends all bought our vettes last summer and they were all at different hieghts, I think its just a matter of how it comes out of the factory.
