Battery Disconnect
Near where I live they are having a car display on the 4th of July inside a mall. One of the requirements is to remove your battery cable for 8 hours. I have always been told that this could be harmful. Is this correct and I should just forget it or will it be OK

If that were true, thousands of us who disconnect our batteries in the winter time, would be in big trouble.
