Cylinder head thread chaser sizes?
My brother and I are replacing heads on his SS and I need the thread pitch and diameter so I can chase the head bolt threads to clean them out. Thanks.

I've done many of them and never actually measured the threads. They just don't look like regular threads to me. They look like the threads are at a steeper angle than normal. Almost like a screw. Maybe it's just an optical delusion. :D

Take a stock bolt, cut 2 grooves lengthwise in the bolt with a dremmel or grinder, and like magic, you have a bolt that can be used to clean/chase out the threads. Takes 3 minutes of time and costs nothing. :cheers:
