Default Don't know whats going on here

Alright so it all started yesterday on my 2002 c5 corvette. I just finished pulling every single light off the car and replacing them and put everything back together and when I started to backup the car made a squeal noise and began to die. It didn't die, and hasn't died on me yet but now everytime i make a stop the car starts to die and makes the same squealing noise. Also the radio/cd will not turn on, it does absolutley nothing. Whenever I change the air condition controls, the car automatically reverts it back to whatever it was at before. Anyone got any ideas would like to get this fixed ASAP.

(1) Is the battery 'FULLY' Charged?

(2) You could have pinched a wire somewhere, is that possible when you retrace your steps in your head?

(3) Every light! Do you mean interior and exterior?

(4) LED's or Standard Replacement Bulbs, but just brand new?

(5) Have you had a friend stand outside the Vette with the hood up as you back-up to see where the squeal is coming from?

(6) Have you 'PULLED' the codes to see if there are any?

(7) Is there anything else you did that day to the Vette, anything?

Please see if there are any stored codes, if there are post them up!

Thanks,Matt

Battery is fully charged sitting around 13v but whenever you tab on the gas or go from park to reverse it will surge downwards as the car starts to die.

(3) Every light! Do you mean interior and exterior?

I changed the low beams high beams and fogs to his, drl and turn signals to led, rear marker lights to led reverse lights to led, and license plate lights to led I'm still waiting on my halls for the tails.

(4) LED's or Standard Replacement Bulbs, but just brand new?

LEDs/hids all brand new from either jwmotoring or corvettemods

(5) Have you had a friend stand outside the Vette with the hood up as you back-up to see where the squeal is coming from?

I stood under the hood while a friend put it in reverse, sounds like the squeal is coming from the alternator, so I'm going to get it tested today.

(6) Have you 'PULLED' the codes to see if there are any?

I tried to pull the codes but the computer is doing weird **** and automatically cycles through the codes so fast you can't write them down.

(7) Is there anything else you did that day to the Vette, anything?

Nothing, even tried unplugging my hids to see if it was the problem, no luck

Please see if there are any stored codes, if there are post them up!

Thanks,Matt

After the computer does a "fast scroll" through the codes, you can then manually go through them one at a time.

If you put hyperflash in you probably put LED's in. Did you take the headlight buckets out when you did this? Could that be where the noise is coming from and if you mounted the controller (don't know what the little box is called) could they be hitting the buckets when they rise and lower?

You don't even have to wait for the computer to finish cycling through. Once the different modules start appear use the 3 and 4 buttons to manually scroll through the different modules and the 1 and 2 buttons to scroll through the codes within each module.

Getting your DTC's is an important step in troubleshooting issues like this. Please be sure to include both the name of the module (i.e. PCM) and the H or C suffix following the code when you post them.

As to the squeel you mentioned... that doesn't sound electronic. Where was it coming from? Did it squeel after the wheels started turning or immediately after shifting into reverse?
