They are welded to the the TPIS H Adapter. If I unbolt the whole intermediate pipe will I be able to gut the cats without cutting them out? Is there enough room to do it? seems to me this would be the easiest route other than cutting and welding in a new pipe...I should be able to do this in the garage..
Will loose pieces got shot into my Corsas?
I would start with a really sharp knife, then lay the guts out in the sun to dry After 2 days, you can string your violin right up. Might not help your car, but your violin will soucn great.
Just take them off at the H. We jammed an iron rod into the Honeycomb material and shook it out!
Cool. Is it easy to see in there? Is there a problem getting all of it? Did you notice a SOTP Difference and most importantly..did you notice a SOUND difference? :smash:
Oh ya there is a sound difference :D And you dont get that bad egg smell from under the console after a hard acceleration  It was actually quite easy!
RHILL......We have no inspections down here. They stopped it last year.It never worked.....you still had the same amount of junk boxes on the road.Remember this is Miami.....it is truely different down here.I don't know if that is good or bad
Gary I take it you have pretty easy smog laws.. I wish I could get away with it here in So Ca[/color]
I'm thinking of gutting the pre-cats and replacing the mains with the new Z06 cats. Then it should still pass and flow a bit better. Haven't checked into this in detail though. I figure it can wait till I'm ready for the big engine investment.
