Default Catch can install

I have a catch can installed and I was told by a mechanic it was hooked up wrong can someone chime in with the correct routing for a 04 so I can verify I have my lines correct.

Your mechanic is right. You should not have removed your PCV. You need to search out the right instructions for your LS engine setup.

In regards to this post with the information I have found what I thought was the complete system... was only the hoses out of the vally cover and to the TB. So I thought I removed the system when I removed those hoses.

If your PCV valve is under the intake, it looks to be installed correctly. Just monitor it and see if the can is collecting oil. If so, and you dont have any wierd pressure readings or problems, it should be fine.

Thank you for real feedback! I have a lean code bank 1 and I am trying to chace down the issue so vacuum pressure was the first stop in my troubleshooting.

I am not doubting you or your work, but I too have the LS6 intake and the valve is on the passenger side of the TB.

Hope you chase the leak, will lead to an erratic idle and performance.
