How Is Blackwing/Callaway/Halltech CAI
I don't understand how the Blackwing, Callaway Honker, or Halltech Stinger are true CAI.
I do see how the Vararam is a true CAI and an understand why performance gains with the Vararam should be greater than with the others.

Only the Honker of the 3 you mentioned is a true CAI. It pulls ambient air from under the car that is forced up by your air dam. I have one, with a Scan Gauge that tells me that the air temp at the MAF is the same as the outside air temp at speed. You can't get any "colder" than that with a CAI.
