How much do they actually help and how much do they usually run?
If having these installed, is it even worth the price and labor for the performance you gain?
On older Vettes and F=bodies, as well as numerous Dodge vehicles I know that they often cause problems and don't help whatsoever, why do they help on c5s?
6-8rwhp... To do the mod by itself it's too much of a pain, however if you combine it with a cam swap it makes sense. To install a pulley is essentially the same labor as a cam swap.
MMS charged me $215. The typical concern has to do with A/C etc, also balancing. I live in AZ and have no problems so far. Can't say what the hp gain is but my car runs strong with an extremely mild cam, I think it's a no brainer if you are doing heads/cam anyway.
