High Pitch Hum
I have a high pitch hum that seems to be coming from the driver's side. It seems to happen in the morning after a cold start. It continues all the time I am driving. It generally doesn't happen later in the day, or after its been driven and restarted later. Any suggestions?

I have the same thing in my '02 coupe and the lower the fuel level, the louder the hum. It isn't as noticeable when cruising down the highway but if I have 1/4 tank or less and I'm setting at a stop light then it becomes an unpleasant reminder to buy gas soon.

High pitch whine...
I have the same thing... I'm going to let the gas guage get low and see if it gets worse and then if it gets better after fill up. I always thought it might be a bad ground on the Bose Amp and the noise was coming from the speaker...

I had the same thing happen to me one time. It was about 275 or so miles into my return trip home after buying the car. We noticed it when we had to stop on the Interstate because of a wreck up ahead. I turned the car off and back on again but it still hummed.
I called to guy I bought the car from and we agreed that it was probably the fuel pump because the gas level was low. Now, my fuel level has been low since then but I have not heard the humming since that one time.
