Look way down in the dash from above, can you see it down in there? If so you may have the dropped HUD issue. The dash pad would have to come off to get the HUD out to repair it. Search on the tech forum for how to's and pictures. If it's not lit at all with the brightness up, you may have a fuse out or a connector loose. It's not turned off and on with any modes or switches.
