Default Lost connection with TAC??

I am using an '04 C5 LS1 as a standalone setup in my Nova. When I test fired my motor the DBW worked fine. Today when I tested the instrument cluster it was displaying "Reduced Engine Power" "Service Vehicle". I have 0 response from the TB when the pedal is depressed. My scanner is giving "U0107" Lost communication with TAC module. I checked all my connections to the TAC, PCM, TB, and pedal assembly I do not see anything wrong. What kinds of tests can I do to check the TAC? Is my TAC fried??

Thanks for your help.

Dhamen

I did store my harness, PCM, TAC, and pedal assembly in a rubbermaid tote over the winter. I thought the TAC was a sealed unit. Could it have moisture in it causing my problem??

Doubtful Dhamen. What have you verified with regards to wiring? Correct pinout? Power? Ground?

Either later tonight or tomorrow I am going to verify that my cobbled up temporary harness between the TAC and pedal does not have a disconnected wire. Then I will recheck all the connections at the PCM etc. When I test fired the engine the DBW worked flawlessly. It will be a year ago next month but it worked. It has to be something simple. I hope.

I found the issue. I'm such a DA. I forgot to hook up the ignition hot.:o

It works great now!
