squeaking top
Mine squeaks too.
Yes, there is an adjustment area.
Lower the sunvisers, remove the top, the adjustment is at the release lever for the top, the adjustment bolt is between the plastic surround and the frame that holds the windshield, it takes a thin straight end or box end wrench to reach it (I had to pull the plastic surround toward the back of the car to get the wrench over the bolt head and it is very difficult to adjust the lock plate, (I don't know what else to call it). You loosen the bolt and move the lock plate down to tighten the latch (it pivots on the other end from the bolt). I have not had much luck adjusting mine, a 1/16 inch seems to be WAY too much, so adjust in small increments.
