Default What slave cyl to get

I am going to be doing the clutch in my car soon.
What slave cylinder should I get? I know I want GM. Is another year better than another?
Car is a 2001 Z06
Clutch is McLeod RXT.

Also where should I get the bleeder from?

Thanks

GM Slave cylinder & throw out bearing part# 89059282

Katech clutch bleeder kit SKU A6503

This would be your best bet on remote bleeders.
It's of the TPE design.
Trying to order one from TPE is next to impossible.

Stock slave is a piece of junk. Know too many people who had problems with aftermarket clutchs and stock slave......too many broken gear synchros.

What makes that bleeder worth 3X's as much as the Tick bleeder?

I wouldnt mind knowing the answer to that one myself. I too have a Tick bleeder works as advertised. As to the response with to the post about a GM slave. Maybe you should do some research bc the stock slave does fine in most street applications. Just replace it when you change the clutch to spare yourself the ***pain of going back in there to fix somthin you shoulda done the first time. Ive had my Monster Stage 3 with LW flywheel for almost 2 years now. STOCK SLAVE no issues.

I don't think you have any options other than stock for slave cylinders. However, you can use a Centerforce TO bearing on the stock slave, which is supposed to be superior.
