2001 alternator replacement?
This looks to be a simple job, BUT...what part is best? Also, where could I get the best price for the replacement...seems the charge rate varies as well as the clutch/clutchless pully with different years of the C5 range.
Labor seems easy...making sure I have the "correct" replacement seems not.

Bought one for my wife's '01 at AutoZone.....
They had the lowest price net of core charge...
There are two models
one for the A4 transmission, the second for manual transmissions.
Getting the right one is important and it links with the PCM
