Leveling exhaust tips.

Leveling exhaust tips.
One set of tips is a little lower than the other. Am I correct that the best way to even them out is to slight bend the hanger tabs that are welded on the muffs ? Shim the mount ?

On the side you want to adjust. (Up or Down)
Loosen the two bolts/nuts at the flange conection between the catback pipe and the H or X pipe. (which ever system, you may have)
Have a second person hold the chrome tip at it's proper position &
re torque the loose hardware.
Your now good to go.
