Default AC Actuator Opinion

I have a 98 Corvette A4 that has the Dual Zone AC. I'm planning on replacing the driver side AC actuator and was wondering if this would work
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BUICK-CADILL...#ht_1495wt_952

It says that it will fit 97-04 Corvettes but I just need you guys opinion just to clarify before I purchase. Thanks lots

That sure looks like the right one.

If yours was like mine, one of the plastic gears is cracked. You can superglue it back together and it should hold for a while.

advanced auto carries two different versions one is 134 and one is 34

one is for auto and the other is for manual ac which i never knew existed.

I am planning on trying to borrow one of the gears from the cheaper 34 dollar box and transplant into my stock broken gear.

Anyone try this already?

I took mine apart and removed the plastic gear. I then used a stainless steel washer that I drilled out to match the gears OD and ID and JBWelded it to the assembled broken gear pieces. PERFECT REPAIR! It will last a LONG TIME!

BUT I'm a cheap b*&^8d and it's way easier to buy the whole thing.

Nothin to it...

They go on sale for around $90 occasionally. I see they're now more, I was going to say they had a cheaper one but it's the same one. Just marked way up so they can rape you.
