Well, I finally pulled the trigger on my engine upgrade. Right now I have a Vararam and Kook's Headers but I'm looking forward to the following.
New Trick Flow heads
Comp custom grind cam shaft
Fast 92 intake
Billet 90mm TB
New larger fuel injectors
All new ARP bolts
Upgraded balancer
Pin balancer
Remove high flow cats
New LS7 lifters
New springs
Hardened pushrods
Rocker arm trunion upgrade
New upgraded timing chain
you should be able to do a lot better than 475 crank hp with that list.
I just did FAST 78, PRC stage 2.5 heads, tsp 228R and headers and got 440 at the wheel. Best part is it still drive like stock and gets 28mpg.
You should see at least 450 at the wheels, depending on your cam specs, possibly more with a great tune! My LS6 made 455/435 with a mid 230's cam and Ported/milled LS6 heads and a 90mm FAST.
I don't really know the cam specs. I let the guys at Eastcoast Performance do all of that for me. I opted for a large blower cam so that when I put a blower on it next year the engine won't have to be gone into again. They said that they have done this before (blower cam without the blower). That's also why they are pinning the balancer this time. They said that I would lose a little now but gain a lot more when I install the blower. I'm really excited about this because it's going to be the Hotrod I never had or could afford when I was yonger or while I was putting all that money in my 401K.
Also, a dyno tune is included in the cost.

You're goals are conservative, and that's good. That's a great list of parts, and when I had a similar setup, it pulled 483/432 RW, SAE corrected on a D-jet. The only thing different was a Meziere EWP, and a UD pulley. I used a Crane cam that was 228-232@ 112+5, and it had an amazing midrange.
Exactly, I'm easy on the clutch as well. It won't take the torque your combination is going to make. I think I made three tanks of fuel before all tell tale signs started to show up, would not 2-3 shift.....pedal stays on floor.
Removed the cats yesterday and it only took about an hour. Sounds a bit better but Mike Yeager says it will really make a difference when he gets the cam in. I drove to the car show in Forest City, NC today and had no smell at all.
Should get started on the engine upgrade on Wednesday if the cam arrives by then.

All parts should be here by next Friday.
Might I ask which throttle body did you get? Are you converting from drive by wire to drive by cable? Your parts list looks almost identical to mine except I prob won't be getting a blower on mine in the future and I'll be using some P/P CNC'd 243 heads.
I didn't get the manufacturer of the TB but it looked like it was milled from a solid block of billet material. I will still be using drive by wire since he's using the motor from my present TB.
