P0300 code and plug wire 03 Z06

P0300 code and plug wire 03 Z06
My car started running rough Thursday afternoon right after I topped off the fuel tank. I pulled over popped the hood, idle was a little rougher but no mechanical noises so I drove a bit more and I got a flashing CEL.
I drove home and ran the Codes P0300 on the DIC. Misfire..first thought bad gas? Water in gas?, cracked valve spring? Ran a real code reader and pointed to Cylinder 7
Nope the plug wire was off, 2 others on that side were loose too. The car has 31K on it and to my knowledge the plugs and wires are original.
Getting that plug in and out on 7 was a Mother.
Plugs and wires are in short order, the car is fine now but after years maybe it's best to replace them.
