drive shaft hub
Just wondering how in the world are you supposed to remove the pilot bushings from the hub that connects the drive shaft to a manual transmission. I was going to install new one's but after spending the $216 price on the new hub I can't see paying $165 and $102 for these two bushings, one of them is plastic.

Yep that is it. I ended up going to a machine shop and having them machined out for re-use. that is plain rediculous to charge that much for those pieces. the GM part #'s are 12456214 ($165.44), and 88894015 (plastic $101.91). I'm sure they are cheaper @ some other places but i didn't want to wait another week to put this thing back together. I've had this car 4 weeks today and have yet to leave the shop in in. It should be good when completed though.
