6 spd shift box question
Here's the story - last week flushed and replaced clutch reservoir. Also last week had the transmission fluid replaced and the differential fluid replaced.
The new clutch and tranny fluids made a big difference in shifting - even my wife noticed and commented. But it still didn't not seem smooth going into first or reverse. Nor - when in neutral - if I moved the lever to one side or the other would it snap back to center. So...decided to lift the covers and see what was under them. Everything appeared tight and just as it should be from what I've read and seen on this forum. Here are a couple of pictures

Is there anything else I should be looking for or just let it be?
Thanks

Check this thread, scroll down to the diagrams and read his method. I'm having a similar issue where 2nd is crunchy at low revs and reverse is tough to engage. New fluid helped but I'm going to try this method this weekend and see what happens:

Thanks X-Raven...... I looked at the post and read the second section especially. I worked on getting that taken care. On a brief test drive, seemed to help a great deal.
Regarding the "neutral pin" - could not get that to go down in spite of everything I tried. Slid things forward, back and every which way. I'll see how things go and then decide what, if any, the next step will be.
Thanks again.
