Default Monster Clutch Abuse Thread

Trying to accumulate some data for an upcoming winter purchase. If you are a monster clutch owner step in.
  1. What stage do you have?
  2. What is your mods/rwhp/rwtq?
  3. Do you beat the hell out of it?
  4. How do you like it?
  5. 1/4 mile times (including 60')
  6. Can you slip it?

Thanks!

i have the stage 2 with their lightweight flywheel
440 rwhp/380 rw torque
i dont try to trash it but i dont grandma it either
love it, clutch effort is no more than stock
havent taken it to the track yet but held perfectly after 8 hours of dyno time
slipping takes some finess due to the lighter flywheel

Stage 3 with 18lbFW here.
OLD cam was 412rwhp/380tq (new cam not yet known)
Never really BEAT on it bc i dont go to the track but im not afraid of burnouts
I love the clutch. Have had it now over 2 years and 20k still just as strong as ever
Slipping the clutch does take...finess. Stage 3+ clutches are real grabby.
I plan on getting their twin disc when (and if needed by then) i have the mulla to do FI.

Glad to see interest and previous customers with our clutches. You guys make us proud.

You wont be disappointed in our clutches. How many clutches come with a 12 month warranty and twins 24 months? Have pedal pressure ~15% stiffer than stock, if not closer to stock. And you have to love the monster color!!! We do our best to stay on top of our clutches. This way we make sure the end user has the best overall experience with our clutches.

So, when you are ready to lay some numbers to the ground give us a call.

Regards,
Monster Team

Good timing on this thread, I was going to make one myself. I'm in the market for one and I'm a bit picky with clutch choices and Monster is one of the few who fit the bill. Keep the reviews coming!
