Default HVAC code B0338 97 Auto Targa

Hello,
I had the AC recharged, no leaks but now the green ac light just blinks, pulled the codes and B0338 came up which is inside air temp sensor open. How is that fixed? thanks

the cabin temperature sensor is located inside the little plastic pop out tab that is on your driver side dash - right next to the ignition switch. It is very easy to access.

Sensor open usually means 1 of 2 things.....1) the sensor has failed....or 2) the wiring to the sensor itself has been damaged or has come loose.

given the fact that i shattered that sensor in there might be the reason it doesnt work! i broke it when i first bought the car a few months ago trying to put the dash back together and i had no idea what it was. i even bought the 4 repair manuals off of a member on here and i couldnt find it in there....thanks a bunch for responding, now the hunt is on for a new one...
