Differential has some play normal? (got Video) help please

Default Differential has some play normal? (got Video) help please

bought this diff a wile back previous owner never used it took it off the donor z06 01,

the front opening looks good gears look like they are in good condition no signs of wear or metal grinding, moves really smooth,
just opened it up changing the axle seals and cover O-rings,

only thing I'm worried about it was a really small play looks like its the big center ring and the ring on the very back that transfers power to the axles have a slight play. (sorry dont know what they are called)
i dont want to wast all my time installing it if its gonna have to come back down

New factory differentials have .007" to .010" backlash. Over time that clearance will increase due to wear. Unfortunately you won't know until it's installed if the diff has any noise issues.

thanks Rick, well i think its around the .010" just feels louder with covers off lol. just was not sure if it was supposed to have any play at all

i will have to toss it in and find out.
