Looking for help on abs for a 2000
I have a 2000 with autotrac that started throwing a warning of service abs, traction control and autotrac. The code was c1241 magna steer fault. While hooked to the scanner all four wheels would not show any speed. Reset the fault and drove the car on grass and all the functions worked fine. As soon as I started back driving normal on the road the fault came back. Now it comes on as soon as I start moving after starting the car. Checked and cleaned grounds and also checked all four wheel sensor connections, all ok. The car only has 18k miles and is stored in a heated garage. I'm guessing abs control module. I can't find one, new or used! Any ideas would be appreciated!

It is my understanding that new ones do not exist and nobody can repair the old ones. The best advice I can give is to either:
1. Buy a good used one and hope it lasts.
2. Turn off the traction control and keep driving the car.

Thanks for the replies. Your answers were what I thought, just throwing a hail mary! I can't believe that with all 99 and 2000 c-5s with active handling that no one has come up with a solution. I've checked with salvage yards and a nation wide search could not find one. And when and if they do $1000-$1200. Has anyone taken one of these years apart? I was wondering if you can get to the electronics or are they sealed in the aluminum case?

Thanks for the info, I guess I'll just live with it until someone comes up with a fix. Even if I can find a used one, I can't see spending $1000 for a used one that may just do the same. Its hard to believe a 12 year old car is given up for dead, thank goodness its not the engine module.
