I think most everyone made their own template out of
light weight cardboard. It's not very hard to do. I have
heard that Ecklers gives you one when you buy the ducts
from them.

Chris, we created a template by removing the ductwork on a Z06 and tracing the body. We feel our template is accurate. Keep in mind that, as with any template, it should be created on the conservative side... better to trim here an there than to over do it and have an exposed gap. Also, If you look at the duct panel that bolts to the side of the car the studs are kinda pointed in towards each other. Even on a factory Z06 the holes on the body do not appear to line up with the studs on the ductwork. Its tight but a little flexing and it will slide into place.
