Default Lowering rear

If by lowering the rear half an inch, making the car level, would that effect the abs or traction control? Tks.

I am not have any problems, and I lowered the back all the way due to some oddball tire sizes I am running.

From reading the forum I understand that lowering may require an alignment sometimes depending on how much the vette is lowered.

This is true. Secondly, in order to be "aero stable", a C-5 needs the rear to be a tad higher than the front. This allows the air to push down on the hood, providing downforce, rather than tipping the nose up, and building air pressure under the nose of the car.

The only thing that affects the traction control system are tire sizes. The reason is that the computer's calculations are based off the rotation speed relations between the rear and front, and when they are not a certain amount between each other, the required amount of difference throws the calculations off, hence why the computer will throw codes and "complain".

thanks for the input, that makes sense . i'm running standard size Michelin. i guess the same would hold true for the abs system as well?

ABS/Traction/Active Handling all runs on the same module. However, tire sizes only affect the syncing for the traction control. ABS and I think Active Handling work the same with correct size differences or not.
