Mike bill and I got done with the 1st step of our tweaking job last night and put out some pretty impresive #'s.960 ponies and 1040 Lbs. of Tqe At the flywhhel using a standrd 15% deviation for Parasitic loss I've found the #'s should have been calculated at 18% when the power gets that hi on a TT.It took just a few tweaks all the power comes in at 3200rpm(peak power) and it was done on only about 13.8 Lbs easily capable of 20. Lbs
and the formula is approx. 40-45 rrwhp and around 55rrTqe.For every Lb of boost.
The reason we kept the boost low was on 16 Lbs. we would have needed about 6-800 Lbs. of men(ballast) sitting on the rear to keep it on the rollers even though our new above ground Dyno-Jet has 4 straps unlike the older with only 2 .
We have some more mods to play with and I have no time for details now on my way out the door, also turbos spool up in 1/3 the time of stock and of course it wont hook up but I doubt it has a 1/4 mile future its a decision I need to make real soon.Have a great weekend and drive FUN.Dave S.
Heh :D hitting these numbers on the dyno in the drivers seat (makes for a VERY short run) was second best to taking this beast out to dinner with the wife last weekend... I was grinnin' ear to ear... she was too until about 140 then she said THATS ENOUGH!!!... damn, had to shut her with only a couple seconds of high boost

Scott, 960hp/1040tq at the crank, and although a manual tranny, need to factor in roughly 18% parasitic drivetrain loss... drivetrain friction losses are not linear with hp gains. So, when you start approaching these kinds of numbers drivetrain becomes an even larger drag. We had a small dip to the rich side at about 5kRPM in the air fuel as measured on the wide band O2... but all in all Lingenfelter's tuning is quite impressive :yesnod:

BTW, glad you stopped b today... awesome job on putting the bike back together... so much so that I think you need to post some before and after pics :yesnod:... in this section too... just to **** off the mods... like I know you can do :D :D :D
What were the true RWHP/TQ #'s? Assumptions give way to error and over-zealous expectations.
I'm just curious b/c a 346 CID with 12lbs of boost on Harlan's LS1TT T/A but's down 584 RWHP/660 RWTQ. Shouldn't a 427 with ~13.6 lbs put down more than the "assumed" numbers kewlbrz gave us?
