Default Air pump and wideband

Would the air pump throw off a wideband air/fuel gauge? Does the air pump inject into the banks, or only the driver side?

Yes it will, but only at start up. The air pump only stays on for about a minute or so to light the cats. After that it may start once in a while to fire up the cats when driving. It is noticeable, but you realize what is happening.

A plus to this is that you can see if your check valves are getting sticky. Mine are so I have to goose the accelerator a few times to get them open, otherwise I will get a check engine light. They typically fail at approximately 40-50k miles.

Yeah but as long as you're tuning, you can just unplug it and stop it from throwing a code.
