Idler pulley gone
Please help idler pulley for main serp belt came off/ mount it spins on is damaged can buy pulley and bolt cannot seam to find mount how big a job to get to car is 2001 with stock belts,a/c belt system ok/how is the shaft mounted that it spins om mounted to engine

idler pulley
bolt and pulley bought from chev $70/used large washer to space pulley out,lock washer and lock tight on bolt,there is a spacer for the back of pulley fron corvette central redesign but they do not sell the bolt/talked when chev tech and parts man well know problem they recomend gator belt and redisigned pulley /talked to friend went through 2 advance belts 1 carquet belt all made noise within weeks gatorback belt lasted 50,000 miles

Pulley at Autozone about $18
Pulley is fine but slightly different from OEM in that I had to add a small washer in the back of the pulley as its bearing was slightly recessed.
Used dust shield and bolt from original pulley. Works fine. A lot cheaper than OEM. Replaced both tensioners and also.
