Default 102mm air bridge options

What is everyone using for their 102mm intake systems, that is not running boost?

I was using the new Haltech Killer Bee II C5 Conversion system which is a 102 mm bridge and the C6 type MAF sensor. After putting on an ACP hood I'm using a new C6 bridge, also 102mm, with the same air cleaner. The C6 bridge moved the MAF farther from the throttle body which allowed my ultra lite flywheel/clutch equipped engine to idle a little smoother.

Please elaborate. I am having issues with my 03Z that I just put an LS3 in. have a Fast 102, but still using stock MAF.

Would love to know some details

I understand what you are asking because the TB and MAF are not the same size.

You can use one of these silicone sleeves cut to the length you need. Most speed shops sell them. $20

I was planning on staying with a SD tune, so MAF is not an issue for me. I would also like to see some more pictures.

The Halltech intakes are 102 mm and use the less restrictive LS3 probe type MAF. Go to the Halltech web page for details, pictures, and measurements.

Pretty simple. Change the lower radiator support cradle so you can lay the DeWitts radiator down. Run a 4 inch tube over the top of the radiator to a HUGE Haltech air filter. I run a PowrMAF. Cover area in front of the top of the radiator with a shroud so all air is still directed through the radiator.

So are you using a 102mm C6 airbridge with a Halltech air cleaner/filter? Is the C6 bridge a C6 Z06 piece with built-in MAF fitting?

Pictures by any chance?

Yes, I'm using the C6 airbridge with the built in MAF fitting. The C5 and C6 Haltech filters are the same and I'm using the one that came with my original Killer Bee II C5 conversion kit.

I'm curious if your setup could be used with a stock hood, or only if you changed it like you did. It sounds like you're using the airbridge from the Halltech Super Bee MF103 kit. I like the idea of getting the MAF further forward too.
I was considering using the C5 Killer Bee II conversion kit like you had previously, but after reading your post, I now would consider doing what you did with the Halltech C6 bridge, as long as I don't have to buy a new hood if the airbridge on the SBMF103 is too "thick" (vertical clearance).

I don't think it would fit under a stock hood. I had to cut a notch in my ACP hood to fit, but that part of the ACP hood does dip down and maybe it's lower at that point than the stock hood. See Pictures

Judging from your pix, that particular AB is too tall for a stock hood. Oh well, I guess the C5 KB II is the way I'll need to go. Too bad you had to cut on your nice hood, but at least you got everything mounted up. Looks like a nice set-up.

Thanks for the pix.

if I lower the radiator cradle to get the radiator down and run a aluminum tube down to my Vararam would I need a tune to keep it from getting lean? Basically replace the air bridge with a aluminum tube allowing more air
