Racing with an A4
As you can see I have a stall, and I increased the shift points a little with hypertech. I've always gotten my times by shifting myself, and someone told me today to just leave it in 3 if I increased my shift points? True?

Its usally faster to leave the shifting to the computer... Let us know how it runs

Leave it in 3 for consistency.
Shift it your self if you want to shift it higher than the current set shift points.
You can use the hypertech to raise the shift points and rev limiter as well

Guess he was right, and all this time I was shifting. :D
I'll leave it in 3 and watch where it shifts and compare. I increased it a little over stock with the hypertech. Here is one reason I like shifting. When your tires brake loose off the line,to control wheel spin, I can let off the gas a bit, then mash it again and still be in first for a hard take off instead of it upshifting itself to second when that happens.

Try both on the same night a few times each and tell us what works better.
You might want to try a couple runs in OD just to see the difference.

Leave it in 3rd.
If the shiftpoints are set perfect, then that´s the fastest way to go.
BTW, 12,197 is damn fast!!!!!
