Default How Low Do You Go?

A few weeks ago I changed to BPP coil overs on my '98 coupe & the car has had ample time to "settle". This coming Friday I'll be raising back up somewhat at the shop that installed the new shocks. . It's about as low as I can go now, with the tires very close to the wheel wells. It looks better & handling is good, but I'm scraping into things (i.e. speed bumps) I used to miss beforehand.

For those of you who have lowered your C5's, what's been the best compromise for you in terms of lowering vs practicality for everyday driving?

Mine scrapes, but it's exactly the way I wanted it.

Mine is still at the stock height. I couldn't get home if it were any lower. I have four speed bumps on the street I live on, that I just scrape now.

I went as low as possible with stock bolts, no cutting. I put the A&A products on and use the F45 firm settings while driving up and down our "off road" driveway and lane, otherwise we be bottoming and scraping bad. Worth it. "You gotta go slow in the slow parts to go fast in the fast parts..." Kenny Roberts circa '72?

I am ~1.5" lower than stock. I scrape every now and then on something. I also have the A&A rocker rail/frame saver kit. It has came in handy. :D

Go as low as you can!! :D My front spoiler is only 3 1/2" off the ground  I have never bottomed out on anything, but the front spoiler does scrape every once in a while on some drives, and I can't do speed bumps. Its the price you pay to look cool! :yesnod:
