cig lighter
does the center part of the dash need to be removed in order to replace the cig lighter or does it screw out, there seems to be a short , the fuse is blown , I have tried a new lighter , but I think it is the element
also, the headlights seem dull , what wattage is stock and do the higher wattage bulbs help,

Yes, just pull the console out. You are talking about the one in the ashtray area, not the one in the armrest compartment, right? Four 10mm bolts hold the center console in. A couple small torx screws (one behind ambient temp sensor screen and one behind ashtray insert) hold the main console on. It is very easy to remove.
