Hey All - I'm looking for suggestions of aftermarket mufflers to add to my 2004 Z06. I'm having new piping custom-fabricated for a cat-back system, including a 304 stainless steel x-pipe and custom tips, all Tig welded, but just can't decide on the muffler to use.
I think I prefer bullet-style for a nice loud rumble, and the options the shop is giving me are MagnaFlow, Flo~Pro, Flowmaster and Aero Turbine. As with everything else on the internet, I find people that absolutely love each brand, and others that hate each brand.
I can go outside the shop of course and get something like Corsa, Borla, B&B, etc., assuming I can just but the two mufflers and not a whole system, but curious to see if anyone has any strong feelings towards any in particular - especially the 3-4 brands the shop is offering. All opinions are greatly appreciated!
I had BB Bullets if you like headaches go for it ......I could not stand them so I went changed to the Magnaflows and love them, alot of people like the GHL Bullets but i have never heard them in person.

I have Borla's and they're ... ok... Personally, I like the car to be as quiet as possible. My opinion is if someone really wants more noise, put on good mufflers and add heads, cam, headers, supercharger, new intake, cai, etc. THATS the way to make a car make more noise, not through the exhaust.
Jmho, but a loud car sounds mean to me, not because someone made it so with chintsy mufflers, but because it's so mean, there's no way to make it quiet. You can tell them from a mile away. They're sitting there making no noise, and you just know...
I run the GHL's. The sound is reasonable without being obnoxious. I dislike the "noisemaker" crowd and the GHL's just says it all without being overbearing.
