Default Leaky Butt fix?

Has anyone tried this and did it work? Any Ill affects from using it?

I also read on here to use Redline 75W90 HP gear oil to stop the leak.
Mine doesn't drip on the floor but I did see evidence on the cross member.

What about the Redline oil? Has that helped anyone?

Using Redline gear fluid will not eliminate an axle seal leak.

Could be it's just the differential vent puking fluid now and then.

To determine exactly where the leak is coming from, you'll have to clean up all the residue and then drive it a bit and reinspect to see where the new fluid shows up. If it's an axle seal, you'll see that pretty clearly with the inspection.
