Without doing any research I filled my new blown 416 LS3 on Evans. I should have researched what is in their product. My cooling system is pretty stout with a DeWitts w/ EOC, Spal fans and Meziere EWP and 160F t-stat. I took it out after the first time my coolant temp hit 220F and oil temp 250F just cruising during break in. It was only 80F ambient that day. I drained it out, flushed and filled with 75%water, 25% ethylene glycol and water wetter. With ambient at 90F, coolant temp is now 195F and oil temp is 215F.
I just wanted to post my experience with this if you are thinking about using it in your high output LSX. Nothing in the world is more suitable for cooling than fresh water. Check out how formula 1 carts cool their billion dollar engines.
