Agree with RG above...Pilot Sports have transformed my '98. It's unbelievable how they have changed the handling and ride of my C5...of course, the run flat noise is also gone. Good luck with your choices.

I didn't realize how BAD the run-craps were until I put on the Pilot Sports!
I just put 220 miles of high speed driving with those tires at Watkins Glen road race track a few weeks ago . I still can't believe how well they handled and weared. One hour during the day it rained pretty good and I was still running those tire over 120 mph without skipping a beat! VERY IMPRESSED!
the pilot sports are a great tire but in my testing the bridgestone s03 are a better choice and you will save $ wish i could run them but using 335 30 and michelin was my best choice so3 great hook up sweet in rain great manners
I have the G-FORCE KD'S Pilots may be the best all arounf non-runflat out there. S03's are also good and the NITTOS may be the best bang for the buck. I don't think you can go wrong with any of these. You'll be amazed how your car drives when you get rid of the RUNFLATS.
They're fine tires, but are very expensive and have a low wear rating. Suggest you consider Bridgestone S03's, Goodrich KDW's, Goodyear Eagle F1-non-runflats, and if you keep the speed under 168, Kumho's. I believe you will find that ANY non-runflat will improve the lack of rear compliance that the runflats impart. The best deal (at Tirerack) seems to be the Goodyears at <$600 for a set. Pretty good when compared to the Michelins at >$1100...and with much better wear ratings. I have the S03's and like them, but will probalbly cheap out next time.
Love these tires. I cannot beleive how they grip over the F1s I took off, but more amazingly, they seem to actually grip even better in wet conditions. Makes no sense but thats what they do
They ARE great tires. I run them on our STS, but I went with the Nitto's, mainly for the bang for the buck & the wearability! So far (knock on wood) they've worn & performed very well over a year & a half & 10 trips to the drags!
