Actually, yea I have, and owned a few myself. Some, were pretty serious ones.

I have an appreciation for them too, but, this guys asking about starting at ground 0 and moving in one direction or the other. His budget will do either setup very well. He says he's interested more in sound than hp, but reading between the lines, I think he's saying, there will be plenty of hp when it sounds good (or something to that effect). And that's fine.

Imo... Gimme the blown sound (and all the nice low end torque and lesser valvetrain stress to go with it).

Not sure the price will get you close to a good head/cam/intake/ built trans etc... but the power is instant!

If you want to bump up the money go for all out H/C/I package or going with a twin turbo (which is also going to cost you more also) all great choice

Depends what your goals are with the car...
