Hey guys, I have a 2001 C5 and I removed my intake to put the FAST 90mm on and I got a deal on a used ls2 tb with the casper harness. Well I finished at 2 am in rush to get ready for the drag strip, drove 2 hours there and noticed that soon as I hit full throttle the car would go into "REDUCED ENGINE POWER" mode and SERVICE TRACTION SYSTEM and SERVICE ACTIVE HANDLING would go on. Soon as I turned my car off and back on it would be fine. Until of course, i hit full throttle. We hooked it up to EFI live and came up with p1516 which is the throttle actuator control or whatever it was. So, I'm trying to figure out if its a ****** ls2 throttle body that I got or if its the casper wiring harness thats messed up. According to EFI live the car goes into reduced engine mode with anything over 84% throttle, even if the car is off. Which makes me think it probably isnt a tuning issue due to increased air flow.
PS before I get flamed, I did look up this code and common problems online for a while, seen a lot of similar problems, but no sollution yet.
Typically you will get a P1514 and not a P1516----The fix for a P1514 is to add 25% to table C6101 (predicted airflow)
Sounds like a pigtail issue---check your TPS position with your data logger--here is a site that will walk you thru diagnostics for P1516
The car goes into limp mode---the reason for all the TCS lights flashing
If you start and stop the engine 3 times it will reset however and clear--If you are at the track--just clear it before each run-- and leave it running !!-or it will limp--on the 3rd start at WOT-- http://www.gearchatter.com/viewpost14490.php

I don't think I would want to run my car at the track unless it was properly tuned first after a part install that will lean out your air/fuel mixture.
