Teeth chattering brake squeal
I am taking it easy breaking in the new ZO6. The left front brake has developed a very annoying and embarassing squeal during stops. The car has only seen slow and gradual stops.
Is this a fluke that will disappear soon? Do I need to make a few agressive stops? :rolleyes:
FYI - 228 miles so far!

It shouldn't be doing that. I never experienced any squeal with the stock pads.
Maybe you should look at yourself or have the dealer do so. Sometimes a rock can get into the caliper (between the two pistons) and cause squeal. However, if it has been doing this since day one I would look at it.
