If you are removing the cats from the equation, you will need some O2 simms to place in the rear O2 spots...otherwise, no, nothing else is needed. YOu will swap over the stock front O2's into the headers once they are installed...good luck! :smash:

Not at all, use your old one. I even used my stock header gaskets

You'll need the Hpipe....the only reason you will need O2 simms is if you plan on removing the cats, that is, having straight pipe welded in between the TPIS Hpipe and the Bassani...

the h pipe is actually your mounting flange that the headers slip into and being long tube headers unless you are relocating the cats, you will be loosing them therefore will also be needing the simms... i will try and get some pics tomorrow and will load them for u.

email me at braft@popmail.com. Just got the TPIS's put in, got a shot that shows the weld at the h- pipe. You also have to cut about an inch of the midsection pipe after the cats, but I think with an X- pipe you can avoid the flaring cause your going to replace that whole section. OR tell me how to post pics.

I am curious about this topic too. I will be installing either the TPIS or the Stainlessworks headers onto stock cats and Bassani X-pipe. Dont you forego an H pipe for the X pipe?

Oh yeah, whoever has the stainless works headers, please chime in and lemme know how you like 'em

The H-pipe is a connector between the two sides of the TPIS collectors BEFORE the cats, it should not be confused with the factory H-pipe which comes AFTER the cats (which is replaced by an X-pipe). I had TPIS headers installed today, and wonder why they need the H-pipe piece if you already have an X-pipe after the cats. Apparently it was ~1/8 of an inch off, and caused my installer all kinds of fits.

He had installed Stainless Works headers a month or so ago, and said they took about 2 1/2 hours less time (less things to remove, easier to line up as they have no H-connection).
