how to remove air box?
How do i remove the top section lid of the air box assembly?
I see two plugs/rivets and im not sure if i just pull hard to pop the lid from the connection on the front of the car or if i will break something doing that.
Thanks for any info. Trying to do this without having to take everything apart.

Unclip clips, pull back top, pull bottom off the metal posts.
Sometimes it helps to lubricate the bottom part where the grommets are with some WD40 and then use a long bladed screwdriver for leverage. It's much easier to put it back together again though.

Just PULL and then get pissed ... and YANK ... and get mad ... then just relax ... loosen the clips ... and it just pops off ... (that is how I did it the first time) :cool:

lol yeah thats how i figured it out too.

I removed the top plate and used some long 34" inch zip tight (tie wraps)
found in the plumbing/AC area at the hardware store.
Used those to hold the filter on and will try it out at the track to compare if there is any gains.
